Fintech companies don't share one way of interviewing. Stripe gives you a take-home, and you present it to business people in plain words. Block runs a quick, timed round of SQL and Python, with no take-home. PayPal's main interview is a fraud case with a senior director. What they share is the subject. All of them will ask about fraud, risk, payments or merchant data. And mistakes here cost something real. If you block a good payment by mistake, a customer is let down. If you miss a bad one, the company loses money. And a model has to be easy to explain to a regulator. Prepare for the subject, not for a fixed list of rounds, and read about your company's process before the screen.
