Netflix: Measure first-week watch time and completion for each episode of a newly released season.
The Content Analytics team is preparing the first-week report for the second season of a drama series that launched on 9 May. They have exported the viewing sessions recorded around the launch, together with the episode list for both seasons, and asked for the hours watched and the completion rate of each new episode in the first seven days, so the team can see where viewers drop off.
Note: a viewing session is one continuous stretch of playback recorded by the app, from when playback started to when it stopped. An episode counts as completed by a viewer when they have watched at least 90% of its runtime.

Assume this data comes directly from the playback telemetry system and hasn't been cleaned, so review it carefully before relying on the numbers. When something looks off, work out what it is and decide how to handle it; when a definition or a final decision is genuinely ambiguous, choose a reasonable option and explain why. There's often more than one valid way to compute a result, so explain the approach you take and the reasoning behind your choices.
What's assessed: your results, and how clearly you explain what you see in the data and justify the choices you make.
